Just Like Having A Tour Guide In Your Carâ„¢ for Oahu, Hawaii. Plays commentary AUTOMATICALLY as you drive and works OFFLINE (no data or cell required).

This tour has 130+ commentary points

Whenever you visit an island, there is a strong desire to explore all the way around it. Oahu will not disappoint with its incredible variety and excellent scenery and activities. This tour guides us all around the island of Oahu from the famous surfing beaches of the North Shore, to great places to sample Hawaiian treats, to amazing land and water features and much more. We have a great chance to see some turtles too. Along our tour route we visit these places and many others:

Dole Plantation
Haleiwa and the North Shore
Laie and the Sea Arch
Chinamans Hat
Byodo-In Temple
Pali Lookout

The tour begins right in the heart of Waikiki. You will need a full day to complete this tour, with many recommended stops along the way. We will pass some great places to eat along the way so there is no need to pack your lunch. The tour route is a loop and finishes back in Waikiki.

This app is not just a directory. It provides a guided tour experience. You will feel like a local expert is showing you the best of everything as you drive. GyPSy knows where you are and plays automatically.

Once downloaded, the tour requires no data exchange to operate and activate the commentary points, so you will not have any data costs. Just download the app from your Wi-Fi network at home before you leave or use free Wi-Fi at the airport, your hotel or any other location. We recommend using an auxiliary cable or FM transmitter to make the audio play through the car speakers.

** Important: If you are downloading the tour to an iPad it must be a 3G model or higher. If the iPad is wireless only - it will not automatically activate the commentary which requires GPS function. Any iPhone 3G, 4 or 5 will activate just fine.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
